David Wipf Gregg Stedronsky and Paul Eggers were chosen to attend Boys State. Alternates were Bruce Kocer, Scott Andersh and Randy Pirner.

Margaret Schuurmans bowled the high series of 467 for the week at the Wagner Bowl. High game was Carol J. Morrow and Alice Ducanson each having 185.

A daughter, Eva, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dvorak.

Twin girls were born to Mr. And Mrs. Louis Pesicka.

Irene Mundt was an all-day visitor at Lawrence No. 2 where she had been a former pupil. William Lancrane caught a large white eagle that was 3 feet high and a wing span of 6 feet. The bird had been hurt and could not fly.

Dorothy Silvis took a position as assistant editor of the Norfolk Daily News.
