Irene Mundt was an all-day visitor at Lawrence No. 2 where she had been a former pupil. William Lancrane caught a large white eagle that was 3 feet high and a wing span of 6 feet. The bird had been hurt and could not fly.
Dorothy Silvis took a position as assistant editor of the Norfolk Daily News.
