Mr. and Mrs. Carol Rehwaldt celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Students receiving Superior ratings at the Music Contest held in Kimball were Deanna Duncanson, Lanning Mollet, Norman Andersh and Norma Martin.
Ernest Johannsen arrived in Korea where he was an instructor in maintenance and heavy equipment.

92 Years Ago – 1932
DaleBradley,DonaldBurke and Gerald and Dale Daily were skating on Choteau Creek.
Relief had been received for the livestock of destitute farmers in this section of the county after a solicitation program sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce and American Legion. A carload shipment of 1500 bu. Of corn was secured with promise of several other cargos of grain, a gift from the people of Hamburg, IA. The Farmer’s Cooperative donated a carload of hay and the House of Gurney at Yankton promised a carload of hay. Red Cross provided transportation and donated products.
