39th Annual Voice of Democracy contest was held. Winners from Wagner were: Susan Kaberna, Laura Peters, and Shaye Krcil.

Sheri Uncle and David Kleinschmidt announced their engagement.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brooks celebrated their anniversary.

Norman Engel, who is attending college in San Francisco is spending Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harol Engel.

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hall spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Uecker.

Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Kocer have moved to Wagner and are residing in the Ted Connelly house which they purchased.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Schroeder on December 22.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Medricky at the Duggan Hospital.

Dates can be purchased for 39¢ a lb.; peanuts for 39¢ a lb; and flour is $2.29 a 50 lb. bag at Phil’s Grocery.
