2015New playground equipment was installed at Wagner Lake. The equipment was funded by a private local donor, whose donation was matched by a grant through the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks.
The Annual Wagner Cancer Walk was held.

Youth from St. John’s Catholic Church, Wagner and Dante Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, departed for a trip to Steubenville in the Rockies Conference for young Catholic Christians.
Derek Koupal of Dante was awarded the Yellow and Blue Scholarship for the 2005-2006 school years at South Dakota State University.

Wagner “B” Teeners placed 3rd in the State Tournament held in Canton.
Ribbon cutting was held at the new Buche Food store. The Wagner Peewee Team won the league championship at Lake Andes.

Erection of the New Randall Community Water District tank was completed on the John Carda farm southwest of Dante.
Diane Edwards and Daniel Dvorak exchanged vows. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Statler.

Special at the Spot Café was hamburger and malt for 19 cents.
Ralph Koupal was chosen president of the Wagner Men’s bowling Association.
The present strength of the Wagner Guard unit was 14 officers, 4 warrant officers and 102 enlisted men.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Deurmier and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kreeger both celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries.
Ray Conlon retired after 42 years with G.F. Buche Co. Norma Kohler and Charles Morgan exchanged vows. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moysis.

Notice was given by Mayor Pat Connor that all weeds growing within the corporate limits of the city of Wagner must be cut by Sept. 1 or it will be done by the city and taxed against the property.
