The Wagner City council gave approval for the construction of a Skateboard Park with a grant for $40,000 at the request of the Boys and Girls Club of the Yankton Sioux.

Former Wagner resident, Mrs. Rose (Baxa) Koch and husband Rudy, sold a 550-acre tract of land in Washington for one million dollars.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beeson. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kocer.
