Kourtney Carol was born to proud parents, Ryan and Erica Svatos and big sisters, Abigail and Mikayla.

Timothy Enjady graduated from the Marty Alternative School with honors.

The stylists at Town & Country held a food drive “Tan for a Can” at the salon with the food being donated to the local food pantry.

Seven Christmas trees were decorated at the Good Samaritan Center by community members for the residents to enjoy.

Solomon St. Pierre of the #16 ranked University of Sioux Falls football team was named to the 2014 Daktronics Division II All-American team.

Students named to the President’s Honor List and Dean’s Honor List for both full and part-time students for the 2004 semester at Northeast Community College included Joshua Wayne Wiechmann, President’s Honor List and Jill Marie Denker, Dean’s List.

Jayda Jay Rysavy was born to Russ and Pam Rysavy. Members of the newly formed Daisy Girl Scout Troop were Vanessa Bailey, Tavia Podhradsky, McKenna Bundy, Sidney Juffer, Jackie Greger, Morgan Lensing, Jensen Holzbauer, Sekayla Williamson, Zintkana Sa, Trish Lensing and Becky Holzbauer.

Janis Nedved made red, white and blue Christmas stocking to send to members of the 153rd Company A, which were filled with goodies.

Miss Karen Kaberna was chosen Miss Summit Hall at the college in Springfield.

Tom Magera and the Versatones provided the music for the 137th Engineer Battalion Military Ball held on December 28th. Admission was 75¢.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Payer and a son to Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith.

Douglas Wiechmann left for Beloit, WI to visit relatives and seek employment.
