Three-year-old, Rainbow Star Zephier, the reigning Little Miss South Dakota Baby Petite, represented the state of South Dakota and the Yankton Sioux Tribe in the Little Miss World Pageant in New Orleans recently.

The Dante girls claimed the 2nd place trophy at the Girls Softball Tournament. Lake Andes won the championship.

Wagner Heights was the new residential area in the City of Wagner as evidenced by the construction of the W.E. Aubert home. The area is located just east of the Wagner Good Samaritan Center and encompasses 19 acres and at that time 24 lots were available.
