WHEN TRIALS COME YOUR WAY
PSALM 46:1-3,10,11
1-"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2-Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3- Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah."(KJV)
10-Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth".(KJV)
11-"the Lord of hosts is with us; is our refuge.Selah"(KJV)
Our scripture tells us that no matter what troubles may come our way, God is our strength, a very present help in trouble. There is nothing on this earth that God cannot overcome. He created it all and He can control it all.
We see problems around us every day but we do not have to worry about them.
If we are faithful--God will be our strength through them.
We know that God in Omnipresent and He is always available to us in trouble.
So when trials come our way--instead of trying to work your way through them, Verse 10 says, be still and know that He is God.
When He is exalted (lifted up) by our faithfulness He will respond with His goodness, protection, strength and help us through any trouble.
We must love,honor and serve Him, this is pleasing to Him. This is what He wants from us. Loving Honoring and serving Him, He will show His love, His goodness and His mercy toward us, and be our ever present help in time of trouble.
The Lord of Jacob in the same Lord of us.
When trials come your way--do you first call on the Lord to help you?
