WHAT HAVE YOU RESOLVED TO DO

Just Thought I'd Ask
By
Dr. James Schirtzinger, D.d.

ECCLESIASTES 3: 11-14 11) ' He hath made everything beautiful in His time; Also He hath set the world in their hearts, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12) I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13) And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14) I know that, what so ever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that man should fear before Him'(KJV) We can see from these Scriptures that every thing we see, touch, smell, and every thing around us was and is created by God.

Knowing that all has been established God did this so we could acknowledge how great He is.

We know that man cannot add to the earth, man cannot add to the planets and the stars in the sky, man cannot change the seasons or the weather So it only for us to know hat He is so much better than we are. We cannot add nor take away from all the creation that He did. Remember that He did it all in six days and took no labour to do it--He just spoke it into existence.

He did it so that man would Fear ( love ) Him. That man would worship Him as the Almighty God that He is.

He made it all and is in charge of keeping it all.

Man has a problem with leaving things alone, wanting to think that he can do things better than God has done.

We can see that everyday, God says--love your neighbors-and man says let's have war against our neighbors.

Man should accept the wonderfulness that God is and respect what He has done for His pleasure and for man's pleasure, and learn to fear God who started it all--and can stop it all.

It is time for New Year Resolutions. Let's all resolve to Love, honor, and to serve the Lord. Learn more about Him and turn toward Him and away from the world's ways of denying Him.

So what have you resolved to do?
