Becky Brunsing was the program chair, but in her absence, Kelsey Doom introduced her program, Linda Foos. Linda presented on the Top 20 training coming to Wagner Thursday, February 14 and Friday, February 15. She shared with the group that this training was the first she brought to the Wagner School staff as superintendent. She describes it as being about our thinking, and how it can affect our lives as a whole. She stressed the positive impact it has on the school culture and how it can impact many companies and businesses in our area. The event was made possible by a grant from the South Dakota Community Foundation, written by Kelsey Doom with Wagner Area Growth.

The event is free to Wagner community members, businesses and organizations. There are three total sessions to choose from (all include the same presentation): Thursday, Feb 14th from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; Thursday, February 14th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.and Friday, Feb 15th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The sessions are all located in the Wagner Community School Theatre.

On Thursday evening, Feb 14th, the speakers will be presenting at a special Valentines Day dinner. The dinner is at 6:30 p.m. at the Wagner Theater. Contact Kelsey at 605-481-2493, or kelsey@wagnerareagrowth.org for tickets or more information.

President Weber thanked Linda and Kelsey for a wonderful program and urged all members to attend (also stating that he and Wanda wished to attend the Valentines Dinner). All Rotarians then closed in their usual fashion by singing “My Country Tis of Thee”.
