The Raiders traveled to Hanson Tuesday night to take on Hanson. The boys were ranked just above the Beavers in the region standing prior to the game. The game was close the entire way, the score was 17-17 after the first period and Hanson led 28-27 at the half. Wagner pulled ahead 38-36 after three periods. Hanson took an early lead in the fourth quarter, the Raiders found themselves down by 4 with just under 2 minutes remaining. Carter Cournoyer made a 2 point basket and Joey Cournoyer Jr.

made another on the Raiders next offensive possession to tie the game at 45. With 36 seconds left Jesse Zephier made what would result in the game winning three point shot. The Raiders led 48-45, Hanson went down and missed a shot, Carter Cournoyer grabbed one of his 12 rebounds and Hanson fouled. Joey Cournoyer Jr. made 2 free throws after Hanson fouled 2 more times to get into the bonus. The Beavers scored as time expired to make the final score 50-47. Jour Cournoyer Jr. led the team with 13 points, Preston McFayden scored 12. Carter Cournoyer had 8 points and had 12 rebounds. Jesse Zephier scored 7 points and had 4 assists. Parker Petry and Brady Cournoyer both scored 4 points and each had 5 rebounds. Wagner is now 8-4 on the season.

Wagner JV loses to Hanson The Raider JV team lost to Hanson on Tuesday night. The Beavers led 15-9 after the first half and 23-18 after three quarters. Points were hard to come by for Wagner all game. The boys lost by a final score of 21-34. Brady Cournoyer led the team with 10 points, Javain Pesicka added 7 and Carlos Galindo scored 4.

Wagner C Team Falls to Hanson

The Wagner C team lost to Hanson on Tuesday night. The boys trailed 23-10 at half time and lost by a final score of 24-40.

Kobe Drapeau led the team with 12 points, Dominic Doom added 9 and Winston Little Moon scored 3.

The Wagner C team will be in action again on February 9th in Chamberlain.
