WAGNER WINS BIG BATTLE
AGAINST WARRIORS
The Lady Red Raiders hosted the Winner Lady Warriors on Tuesday, October 21st for their last regular season home match. The Red Raiders added another win to their record winning in 4 sets with scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-21, and 25-21.
Sophomore outside hitter Hannah Holzbauer led the attack throwing down 20 kills while Ravyn Medricky added 14 in the win. Setter Braxon Nedved dished out 37 assists on the night. Medricky led the defense snagging 22 digs, Nedved grabbed 16, and Libby Kotab added 15. Behind the service line Holzbauer racked up 10 points/2 aces, Brianna Fuchs tallied 10 points, and Kotab added 9 points/3 aces.
The JV lost a close match with scores of 2624, 22-25, and 12-15. Kylin Insko, Mateya Bruguier, and Adara Hopkins all had 5 kills while Mila Hopkins added 4 and Ashtyn Bruguier had 3. Insko dished out 11 assists and M. Hopkins had 10. M. Bruguier led all servers earning 5 points/3 aces, Hayden Knudsen tallied 4 points/2 aces, and M. Hopkins had 4 points/1 ace. A. Hopkins led the defense scrambling after 13 digs, Knudsen picked up 12, Inkso added 11, M. Hopkins had 10 and Camry Link had 7.
The C team picked up a nice win in two straight sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-19. Peytyn Wiechmann led all hitters with 4 kills while Taelyn Knebel and Tegan Langdeux each had 3, and Ty’Shay Medicine Bear added 2. Emma Turner earned 10 assists in the match. Turner led the defense scrapping for 8 digs, Emma McNinch and Kymani Gullikson each picked up 6 and Izzy Myer added 4.
Hannah Holzbauer was chosen as KDKO Player of the Match.
