The Tabor Legion Baseball team with a 19-7 record headed into Region play against Mt Vernon/Plankinton Corsica-Stickney on Tuesday, July 19 in Menno. Tabor was on the bottom side of a final 11-8 score, but battled their way back defeating Scotland Menno 11-10, Parkston 10- 6; and MVP Corsica-Stickney 10-1. Saturday’s championship action had the Tabor team facing Platte Geddes and taking control of that game in a 14-0 score. Tabor would again take on Platte Geddes, but a homerun with one on base in the bottom of the 7th put them on the downside of a final 4-2 score.
