The Wagner Red Raiders traveled to Sioux Falls to take on the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Saturday, May 4th and started off with a nice lead, but could not hold on and fell to the Chargers 18-8. Mara Wright stepped in the circle first for the Red Raiders pitching three and one-third innings, walking ten. Braxton Nedved finished the last two innings in the circle walking three.

Ravyn Medricky and Braxton Nedved each racked up a triple for the Red Raiders. Lydia Yost, Mara Wright, Brylie Link, Libby Kotab, and Medricky all contributed base hits in the game as well. Medricky drove the middle of the lineup with three runs batted in, Yost led stolen bases with two, and Sydney Cournoyer and Brylie Link played great defense in their positions.

The Wagner JV put up a good fight against the Chargers, but came home with a loss. Bella Kotab led things off in the circle walking five. Mara Wright finished for the Red Raiders, striking out four and walking two. Bella Kotab and Mara Wright each had a hit for Wagner.
