The Wagner Red Raiders collected 11 hits in the high scoring affair against winner on Thursday, April 11th.

Mara Wright was in the circle for the Red Raiders, striking out four and walking six.

Winner got on the board in the top of the first, but Wagner jumped into the lead when Brylie Link drew a walk, scoring one run. Kayden Zephier also drew a walk scoring one run, and Mia Dion singled scoring two runs. Winner took the lead back in the top of the second scoring eight runs taking the lead 9-4. Bottom of the second we tied the ball game back up thanks to a single by Zephier, a walk by Aubrey Kazena, a walk by Brooklin Nielsen, and a hit by Libby Kotab. Once again Winner took the lead back in the top of the 3rd, 12-9. Wagner flipped the game on its head scoring 16 runs on 5 hits. After Holzbauer and Cournoyer got walked, Rayvyn Medricky hit a homer to center field scoring three and tying up the game 12-12. To top off the inning the Red Raiders drew eight walks and B. Link, Dion, Nielsen, Holzbauer, Medricky all singled. The Red Raiders held winner in the top of the fourth. In the bottom of the fourth, B. Link’s single, Zephier’s fly ball, and Dion’s single sealed the win 27-12.

The Wagner JV fell 15-9 to Winner JV. Hannah Holzbauer led things off in the circle striking out 3 and walking 7. In the 3rd Bella Kotab took over with the pitching duties.

B. Kotab led the hitting category with a double, two walks and an RBI. Delainee Brunelle and Kayden Zephier each added two singles. B. Nielsen, Holzbauer and Tegan Langdeaux each contributed a hit in the game.
