The Wagner Lady Raiders traveled to Plankinton on Tuesday, August 30th to take on the Titans. Although the Raiders started off slow, they stepped up and earned the win. Scores of the match were 26-24, 25-22, and 25-16.

Leading the Raiders at the net were senior outside hitter Avari Bruguier with 12 kills along with junior middle hitter Kya Kjeldgaard with 8 kills. Adding to the attack were seniors Emma Yost and Shalayne Nagel with 6 kills and 5 kills along with junior Shona Kocer who added 4 kills. Macy Koupal dished out 33 assists in the win. Nagel led all servers with 13 points/2 aces, E. Yost added 7 points/3 aces and Bruguier had 7 points. In the back court Bruguier scrapped up 20 digs, Shalayne Nagel 19, E. Yost 16 and Madi Knebel 13.

The JV team racked up another win on the road with scores of 25-12 and 25-21. Hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Jessie Gutierrez had 9 and 4 kills in match. Setters Lydia Yost and Braxton Nedved dished out 12 and 5 assists. Yost led all servers with 13 points/5 aces and Aubrey Medricky tallied 4 points/2 aces. A.Koupal led the defensive unit with 13 digs while Hazel Jensen and A. Medricky each had 8.

Wagner C team fell short and lost 20-25 and 15-25. J. Gutierrez led the attack with 3 kills while Brylie Link and Shana Lensing each added 2 kills. Hayden Fisher distributed the ball 6 times to her hitters. Behind the service line Addison Cuka scored 7 points/2 aces. Libero Libby Kotab picked up 10 digs along with Brooklin Nielsen adding 6 digs and Fischer and Lensing each had 5 digs on the night.
