On Tuesday, April 9, the Wagner boys and girls track and field teams participated in their first competition of the year as they played host to 17 teams.

(6th) The boys had one champion for the day and that was Jhett Breen. Jhett picked up right where he left off last year in the
300 hurdles. He wasted no time setting a new personal record with a time of 41.10. This puts him half a second shy of Steve Lhotak’s record of 40.60 seconds. He will no doubt have his sights set on that time as the season progresses.
