Wagner loses another cold and windy battle to Beresford on April 8th with a score of 4-9. Lydia Yost held the pitching duties and pitched all 6 innings with 11 strike-outs and 4 walks.

Yost led the offense with two base hits and two runs scored. Sydney Cournoyer added a base hit to the mix as well as a RBI. Libby Kotab and Kayden Zephier each tallied two walks a piece. Zephier also scored off one of her walks. Braxton Nedved walked once and scored a run in the matchup. Nedved, Kotab and Yost each stole multiple bases for the Red Raiders, racking up 12 total.

The Wagner JV team finally got to play their first game, but ended up losing Beresford 0-16. Mara Wright was in the circle for the Red Raiders striking out three and walking four. Braxton Nedved and Brooklin Nielsen led the team with a base hit each. Hannah Holzbauer tallied two walks while Nielsen and Wright each walked once and stole a base a piece. Tegan Langdeaux reached on a dropped third strike and added two stolen bases. Libby Kotab was hit by a pitch and added a stolen base as well.

Both teams are looking forward to their upcoming games and are hoping for some nicer weather!
