The Wagner Red Raiders lost the lead late in a 12-7 defeat to the Beresford Watchdogs on Friday May 5th. The game was tied at six with Beresford batting in the bottom of the fifth when the Watchdogs scored on a stolen base.

Despite the loss, the Red Raiders did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. The ladies opened up scoring in the first on a nice RBI by Ravyn Medricky.

The Wagner Red Raiders socked three home runs on the day. Braxton Nedved went for the long ball in the fourth inning and Emma Yost had a dinger in the fourth and seventh innings.

Lydia Yost contributed two hits in the game. R. Medricky added a double. Libby Kotab, Sydney Cournoyer, Brylie Link, and Kayden Zephier all had one hit in the game.

Lydia Yost was in the circle for Wagner, walking four and striking out five.

Wagner will host Avon on Monday May 15th for a double header starting at 4pm.
