The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Winner on Tuesday, October 18th to take on the Lady Warriors. Wagner came out ready to play and swept the warriors with scores of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-15.

Middle hitter Shona Kocer led the attack throwing down 12 kills, Avari Bruguier tallied 10, Emma Yost added 8 and Shalayne Nagel had 6. Macy Koupal earned 37 assists in the match. Behind the service line E. Yost accumulated 12 points/4 aces, Kya Kjeldgaard racked up 11 points, M. Koupal added 8 points/1 ace and Nagel and Madi Knebel each had 6 points/1 ace. Defensive leaders were E. Yost who scrambled for 21 digs, Bruguier picked up 12, Nagel grabbed 9, Knebel added 8, and M. Koupal had 7. Kocer led all blockers with 5 blocks while Nagel and Kjeldgaard each had 3 stops on the night.

The JV team lost in 2 sets with scores of 27-29 and 18-25. Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Aubrey Medricky led all hitters with 7 and 4 kills. Lydia Yost tallied 10 assists and Braxton Nedved added 3. A. Medricky served 4 points/2 aces and A. Koupal added 2 points/2 aces. In the back court A. Koupal picked up 9 digs and L. Yost added 8 on the night.

The C team came up short in a close one with scores of 19-25, 25-23, and 12-15. Outside hitters Cadence Bernie and Shana Lensing led all hitters with 6 kills apiece. Ravyn Medricky added 4 and Brylie Link had 3. Hayden Fischer dished out 14 assists and Braxton Nedved added 6. Behind the service line Brooklin Neilsen racked up 10 points/3 aces, Link added 7 points/3 aces, and Addison Cuka had 6 points/2 aces. Libby Kotab scrambled for 19 digs and Nedved picked up 8. Middle blocker R. Medricky had one stop in the match.
