The Lady Raider volleyball team traveled to Scotland on Tuesday, October 4th. Scores of the match were 25-9, 25-10, and 25-20.

Shalayne Nagel led all attackers with 10 kills. Kya Kjeldgaard put down 8 kills, Avari Bruguier added 7 kills, Emma Yost earned 6 and Shona Kocer had 4 in the match. Setter Macy Koupal spread the ball around to her hitters and tallied 27 assists. Serving leaders were E. Yost and Kjeldgaard both earning 11 points/1 ace, M. Koupal added 9 points/3 aces, Nagel had 9 points/1 ace, and Madi Knebel added 6 points/1 ace. In the back court E. Yost picked up 14 digs, Knebel added 9 and Bruguier had 8 in the win. Kocer led all blockers with 5 blocks, E. Yost added 3, while Bruguier, M. Koupal, Nagel, and Kjeldgaard all added 1 block apiece.

The JV came away with another win with scores of 25-15 and 25-12. Freshmen Ashlyn Koupal led all hitters with 9 kills, while juniors McKenzie Fuchs and Aubrey Medricky each added 3 in the match. Sophomore setter Lydia Yost earned 12 assists in the win. A. Medricky racked up 13 points/3 aces and Fuchs added 10 points/4 aces behind the service line. Leading the defense was L. Yost with 3 digs along with A. Medricky and Jessie Gutierrez each adding 2. A. Koupal put up 2 solo blocks on the night.

The C team came away with a nice win with scores of 25-15 and 25-11. Freshmen Shana Lensing put away 4 kills, Gutierrez and Brylie Link each had 2 in the match. Eighth grade setter Hayden Fisher dished out 7 assists in the win. Serving leaders were Link with 9 points/4 aces, Brooklin Nielsen added 7 points/4 aces and Gutierrez had 5 points/3 aces. Libby Kotab led the defense with 4 digs while Gutierrez added 3 of her own.
