The Wagner Quiz Bowl team continues its march through the winner’s bracket of the Q107.3 Radio Quiz Bowl double-elimination tournament, after a 4-3 win against Winner Nov. 9.

Wagner’s next contest is set for Tues., Dec. 7, against Avon at 9:30 a.m.

Knowing what professionals are referred to as “bean counters”; the name of the largest Gulf State; the names of American Labor Leaders; and England’s population in 1650 were answers that helped Wagner defeat Winner.

Members of the Wagner Quiz Bowl Team include Jillian Beeson, captain; Kathryn Doom, Sphynx Foster, Alaina Bechen, and Isabella Kreber. Each contest can only feature three members, and Beeson, Doom, and Foster played for Wagner during the Winner match.

Thirty-two teams are competing in the Q107.3 on-air tournament, with teams vying to make the top eight to compete for cash prizes for their schools. These in-person challenges will be held at the Pepsi Cola Theater in Mitchell Jan. 8, 2022.
