On Saturday, October 1st the Lady Raiders went up against the Tri-Valley Mustangs. After a fun morning of traditional team bonding the Raiders came out ready to play and earned another tally in the win column with scores of 25-8, 25-17, and 25-17.

The Raiders put up a big offensive match with Emma Yost throwing down 17 kills, Avari Bruguier racked up 8 kills, Kya Kjeldgaard and Shalayne Nagel each put way 6 kills, while Shona Kocer added 5 kills and Macy Koupal had 3 in the win. Setter M. Koupal dished out 35 assists in the match. M. Koupal led all servers with 11 points/1 ace, E. Yost tallied 8 points/2 aces, while Madi Knebel earned 7 points/1 ace, both Nagael and Kjedgaard added 7 points apiece and Bruguier had 5 points. Bruguier led all defenders scrapping for 12 digs, Nagel picked up 10 digs, Knebel added 8 and E. Yost had 5 in the match. Kocer earned 5 stops up at the net, Kjeldgaard put up 3, Nagel had 2 and E. Yost, Bruguier and M. Koupal each had 1 on the day.

The JV added another win on the season with scores of 25-16 and 25-20. Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Aubrey Medricky led the attack with 8 and 5 kills in the win. Lydia Yost distributed to ball to her hitters earning 14 assists and Braxton Nedved added 4 in the win. Behind the service line Libby Kotab racked up 10 points/2 aces and McKenzie Fuchs added 8 points. Kotab led the defense picking up 15 digs and A. Koupal had 13 of her own. Fuchs put up 3 stops at the net and A. Medricky had 2.

The C team fell short with scores of 16-25 and 19-25. Jessie Gutierrez and Ravyn Medricky each had 4 kills in the match. Nedved earned 12 assists in the match. Serving leaders were Bylie Link with 6 points an Brooklin Nielsen with 3 points. Defensive leaders were Kotab with 9 digs along with Nielsen and Gutierrez with 4 apiece. Link also added 2 stops up at the net.

The Lady Raiders have a busy week coming up and will face Tripp/Delmont/Armour on Monday, October 3rd on our home court, then travel to Scotland on Tuesday, October 4th and finish with a road trip to Canton on Saturday, October 8th.
