Wagner hosted the Burke Cougars in a combined 7/8 game in the Wagner School Auxiliary Gym on Tuesday.

The Raiders got off to a fast start again and jumped out to a 16-5 lead after the first quarter. The defense turned it up a notch in the second quarter as the Raiders built a 25-6 lead to go into the half. The defense kept it going in the second half as the final score ended up 44-14 with the Raiders improving their record to 3-0 on the season.

Deshawn Sully led the team in scoring with 16, followed by Preston McFayden with 10 points. Other scorers included: Frank Soukup 6, Parker Petry 5, Leighton Carda 3, Jackson Rolston 2 and Tate Bair 2.

The Raiders travel to Platte on Thursday for a pair of games against a talented Platte-Geddes team.
