The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on September 25th with nine members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order, and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved.

Members of the nominating committee are Joan Houska, Juanita Stone, and Marlene Stone.

Thank you to Yelle Turner for furnishing the canopy and setting up the auxiliary booth at the Arts in the Park on Labor Day weekend as well as for contacting the hospital employees for renewing membership dues and getting the quilt raffle tickets to them.

Money for membership dues and quilt raffle tickets were turned in. All money and tickets need to be turned in on or before October 23rd. The drawing for the quilt will be at the October meeting. Anyone having money to be turned in and unable to attend the October meeting can leave it with staff at the registration desk at the clinic.

A brief report from the Association’s meeting was given by Jeanette Fuchs.

The next meeting will be held on October 23rd at 2 p.m. with Juanita Stone serving refreshments.

There being no further business, Juanita Stone made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Joan Winckler. Motion carried. Refreshments were served by Marlene Stone.
