The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held a short meeting before the Spring Tea on April 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Wagner Theater. There were 14 members present.

President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and the Auxiliary Prayer was read by Jeanette F.

Minutes from the March meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Linda Y., seconded by Bernie K., motion carried.

There was no Treasurer’s report or card report given.

There is no date set for the school tours of the hospital, so could not schedule work times. Members who volunteered to work will be notified of date and time.

The Auxiliary will be serving Brats at Wagner Super Foods on June 14, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Workers and times will be set up at the May meeting.

The next meeting will be on May 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. and refreshments will be served by Jeanette F.

There being no further business, Margie S. made motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.

After the meeting, hospital staff held their Spring Tea for the Auxiliary members. The theme this year was the ‘Kentucky Derby.” Members were treated to popcorn and a beverage while watching the movie “Secretariat.” After the movie, members played a couple games, refreshments were served by hospital staff and prizes were given to members. A big thank you goes out to the hospital staff for the time they put into planning this party held each year for the Auxiliary members.
