The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their last monthly meeting on February 26 with 11 members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and the members read the Auxiliary Prayer.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer was absent, so the balance in the account was given from the January report. Money in the account will be presented to the hospital to be used where needed.
Bryan Slaba, CEO spoke to members, thanking us for all the hard work that we have done for the hospital over the last 73 years. He also reported that 9,915 lives have been saved from the blood drive donations over the years that the Auxiliary has sponsored locally.
President Pearl Weber made the motion to dissolve the hospital auxiliary, seconded by Juanita Stone. Motion carried.
Hospital staff joined us in appreciation for what the auxiliary has done for the hospital over the years.
A BIG thank you goes out to the hospital personnel for the food served for refreshments after the meeting.
