Wagner Hospital Auxiliary

The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting February 27 at 1:30 p.m., with 11 members present.

A check was presented to Bryan Slaba, CEO for the two packs of mannequins to be used for CPR training. This purchase was made from the quilt raffle tickets sold in 2018.

The meeting was called to order by President Pearl W., and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.

Minutes from the January meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Mayme C., seconded by Marlene St., motion carried.

The Treasurer's report was given with bills paid for the month. Motion to approve the report was made by Margie S., seconded by Susan F., motion carried.

Virginia P. gave report on cards sent to members.

Bryan Slaba, CEO introduced members to Dr. Mikaela Koenig. She started working at the Wagner Clinic in January. She told us about herself, work schedule at the clinic and on call days at the hospital.

Report was given from the blood drive held January 28. There were 36 donors registered and 37 life-saving units given, which can help save up to 111 lives. There were nine milestone donors from this drive that have given one to nine gallons of blood over the years. The next blood drive will be held May 20.

The dates for the Farm, Home Show this year will be March 29 and 30. The Auxiliary will be selling raffle tickets for the new quilt. Work schedule will be done at the March meeting.

Invitations for the April Tea were handed out to members present. This event will be held April 24 at the Wagner Theater at 1:00 p.m. Please RSVP by calling 384-7232 by April 19. This event is for all Auxiliary members.

The next meeting will be held March 27 at 1:30 p.m. and Pearl W. will serve refreshments.

There being no further business, motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Marlene S., seconded by Susan F., motion carried. Refreshments were served by JoAnn W.

Members worked putting raffle ticket books together. These will be given to all members to sell for the new quilt for 2019.
