Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting January 24, with nine members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the auxiliary prayer in unison.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer’s report was given and approved.

Juanita Stone made motion to pay a bill presented by JoAnn Winckler for quilt material in the amount of $132.63, seconded by Mayme Crisman. Motion carried.

Juanity Stone made a motion to donate $1800 to the hospital from their quilt raffle, seconded by Margie Stone. Motion carried.

The blood drive held on December 5 had 31 donors. There were 37 units of life saving blood collected which can help save up to 111 lives. Thank you to all the donors who participated and helped to boost the local blood supply. The next blood drive will be held January 30 at the Wagner Fire Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The next meeting will be held on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. Jeanette Fuchs will serve refreshments.

There being no further business, Marlene Stone made motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by JoAnn Winckler. Motion carried. Refreshments were served by JoAnn Houska.
