Wagner community memorial Hospital - Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 4 with ten members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer's report was given and approved.

Card report was given and also cards for Connie Kaufman and Eleanor Andersh were signed by members.

Marlene Stone reported on the Blood Drives: June 1 had 34 donors and 39 units of life saving blood was collected. These units can help save up to 117 lives and August 1 had 26 donors and 32 units of life saving blood was collected. These units can help save up to 96 lives. Thank you to all donors for helping patients in our 150+ hospitals. The next Blood Drive will be December 5 from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Wagner Fire Hall. A big thank you to Marlene Stone and all other Auxiliary members that help in any way with the Blood Drives.

Thank you was given to Danielle Turners for the table runner; brochure about the auxiliary and what we do; and helping set up booth on Labor Day at Arts in the Park with the canopy tent.

Members turned in money for membership dues and quilt raffle tickets. Reminder, money needs to be turned in by the October 25 meeting for the quilt raffle, as the drawing will be held at the meeting.

The next meeting will be October 25 and Pearl Weber will serve refreshments.

There being no further business Margie Stone made motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Yelle Turner. Motion carried. Refreshments were served by Margie Stone.
