The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting April 28 at 1:30 p.m. with ten members present.

President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the auxiliary prayer.

Minutes of the March meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by JoAnn W., seconded by Marlene S., motion carried.

Treasurer’s report was given. Motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Judy K., seconded by Mayme C., motion carried.

Card was signed by members for Margarette Schuurman’s 97th Birthday.

Marlene S. reported that the next Blood Drive will be held May 17 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wagner Fire Station. Rachel Fernandez from Yankton will be speaking at our May meeting about blood donations and blood drives.

The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary will be serving brats at Wagner Super Foods June 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Workers will be Judy K., Pearl W., Jeanette D., and Marlene S.

It was suggested that members ask new people to become members of the Auxiliary to help increase our membership.

Raffle tickets for quilt and membership cards will be handed out to members attending the May meeting to be delivered to other members. The membership dues are $5 per year and raffle tickets are one for $1 or six for $5.

The next meeting will be May 26 at 1:30 p.m. with a guest speaker. Refreshments will be served by JoAnn W. There being no further business, motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Judy K., motion carried.
