The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting February 26, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., with ten members present.

President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.

Minutes from the January meeting were read. Treasurer’s report was given with bills paid since last meeting.

Marlene S. gave report on blood drive from January 27. There were 36 donors registered with 39 life-saving units of blood donated. The units donated will save up to 117 lives. We appreciate everyone that donated to help boost the local blood supply. The next blood drive sponsored by the Wagner Hospital Auxiliary and Wagner Fire Department willbe held May 18. Joan N. presented the bill for food for donors at the blood drive in November and January.

A check of $1,600 was presented to Bryan Slaba, CEO and Brittany Barron, Director of Nursing for the purchase of a baby warmer. These funds were from the quilt project.

Work schedule was set up for our booth at the Farm, Home and Garden Show on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Times and workers are as follows: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Pearl W. and Jeanette D.; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Margie S. and JoAnn W.; and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Susan F. and Jeanette F.

Invitations for the Spring Tea were handed out to members present. The Spring Tea is for all Auxiliary members. The theme this year is “Bingo Party” and will be held Apri1 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wagner Community Hospital-Avera basement. Please RSVP to Yelle Turner at 384-7232. Please come and enjoy an afternoon playing bingo and fun.

The next meeting will be held March 25 at 1:30 p.m. with refreshments being served by Jeanette D. There being no further business, motion to adjourn the meeting was made by JoAnn W., seconded by Joan N., motion carried. Refreshments were served by Pearl W.
