The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with eleven members present.

Two members of the Hospital Events Committee handed out invitations to members for the Hospital Christmas party which will be hold on December 6 at the Wagner Movie Theater with Social Hour at 6:00 p.m. and Dinner at 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP by calling (605) 384-7312 (leave a message with name, number attending and choice of meat: chicken cordon bleu or prime rib) by November 22. This invitation is for ALL Auxiliary members. The theme for this year’s party is “Casino Night” – please come and join in the fun.

President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer.

Minutes of the September meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Juanita S., seconded by Marlene S., motion carried. Treasurer’s report was given with the latest deposits and bills paid. Motion to approve the Treasurer’s report was made by Margie S., seconded by Mayme C., motion carried.

Card report was given by Virginia P. The quilt and raffle tickets were at the Ft. Randall Telephone office and the Town & Country Beauty Salon during the first three weeks of October.

Reminder to all members to get money for dues and raffle tickets turned in before 3:00 p.m. on November 16 at the Auxiliary booth at the Craft Fair at the Wagner School. We will also be having a bake sale again, so anyone wishing to donate items should have them at the school by 9:00 a.m. or shortly after. The craft fair runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following will be workingattheAuxiliaryboothat given times: 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon – Susan F., Jeanette D., Pearl W. and Eleanor A; 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. – JoAnn W. and Virginia P. The drawing for this year’s quilt will be shortly after 3:00 p.m. at the close of the Craft Fair.

The following will be putting up posters for the next Blood Drive on November 25. At the Wagner Fire Hall – Joan N., JoAnn W. and Pearl W.

The next meeting will be January 22, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Margie S. will serve refreshments. There being no further business, motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Margie S., seconded by Susan F., motion carried. Refreshments were served by Jeanette F.
