Wagner Hospital Auxiliary

The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on September 25, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., with nine members present.

President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer.

Minutes from the May meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Juanita St., seconded by Mayme C., motion carried.

Treasurer was absent, but President Pearl W., gave members the current balance in our account.

Joan N., gave a report on the blood drive held on July 22, 2019. There were 36 donors registered and 40 life saving units given. The units given can help save up to 120 lives. These units help boost the local blood supply. There were several milestone donors. The next blood drive sponsored by the Wagner Hospital Auxiliary will be held on November 25, 2019 at the Wagner Fire Hall.

Jeanette F. gave a report on the Hospital Association's meeting held on September 17, 2019.

Did not hold installation of officers as the officers are the same as last year. We will need someone to fill the Vice President position.

Will have quilt with raffle tickets available for purchase at Ft. Randall Telephone officer, Commercial State Bank and Town and Country Beauty Salon during the first three weeks of October.

Motion was made by Joan N., to change the amount for our raffle tickets starting in 2020 to one ticket for $1.00 and six tickets for $5.00. Books of tickets will have six tickets. Motion was seconded by JoAnn H., motion carried.

The Craft Fair at the Wagner School will be held November 16, 2019. Will assign workers for our booth at the October meeting. Also a reminder to all members to get raffle tickets and money returned by or on day of Craft Fair.

The next meeting will be held on October 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., and refreshments will be served by Jeanette F.
