WAGNER HIGH SCHOOL THEATER PRESENTS: DOWN IN FRONT!

By

Wagner High School proudly presents the mystery-comedy, Down in Front, on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th at 7 p.m., at the high school theater. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Activity Passes welcome. Age-appropriate for middle school and up.

It’s opening night at the charming old Harlequin Theater, but the entertainment isn’t onstage — it’s all happening in the lobby!

A cast of zany characters can’t wait to make their entrance: a nervous playwright, his adoring wife, two gossipy old patrons, several panicking ushers, a thief, and a soon-to-arrive fire marshal for a “surprise” inspection.

The mystery develops when the theater manager discovers that someone is sabotaging the theater! Who could be trying to shut it down? Could it be the nasty theater critic who has never had a kind word for any play the theater has ever produced? A stage manager from a rival theater company? Or could it be ushers Candy and Frieda, since Gary seems to be dating both of them at the same time?

This is the play that shows you all the drama isn’t onstage. A lot of it happens Down in Front!
