Wagner hosted the Hanson Beaverettes on Tuesday, September 30th. The Lady Raiders battled and pulled off the 5 set win with scores of 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, and 16-14.
Junior outside hitter Ravyn Medricky led the attack throwing down 18 kills, Hannah Holzbauer tallied 14, Brylie Link added 6, Mateya Bruguier had 4 and Brianna Fuchs had 3. Kylin Inkso dished out 40 assists in the match. Fuchs led behind the service line racking up 13 points/5 aces, Link tallied 12 points/4 aces, Holzbauer added 10 points/1 ace, Insko had 9 points/1 ace and Medricky had 7 points/3 aces. Medricky led the defense grabbing 28 digs, Holzbauer scrapped for 23, Insko added 20, Kotab had 16, Link had 11, and Adara Hopkins had 8. Medricky and Link put up solid front with 5 blocks apiece while Fuchs added 3 and Mateya Bruguier had 2.
The JV lost in two sets with scores of 22-25 and 20-25. Adara Hopkins and Emma Kreeger led up at the net putting down 4 kills each while Ashtyn Bruguier had 3. Kylin Insko tallied 7 assists and Emma Turner added 3 in the match. At the service, line A. Hopkins earned 12 points/4 aces and Camry Link had 3 points/1 ace. A. Hopkins led the defense scrambling for 21 digs, C. Link added 10, and Mateya Bruguier had 8.
The C team earned another win with scores of 25-20 and 25-22. Ty’Shay Medicine Bear earned 4 kills, Taelyn Knebel added 3 kills, while Peytyn Wiechmann and Tegan Langdeau each added 2. Setter Emma Turner dished out 6 assists in the win. Wiechmann led all servers with 8 points/2 aces, Ava Orozco racked up 6 points/4 aces, Knebel added 6 points/4 aces and Medicine Bear had 4 points/1 ace. In the backcourt Wiechmann, Orozco and Izzy Myer all scrapped for 4 digs in the match.
