WAGNER GRADUATES/JUDGES ATTEND SPRING JUDICIAL CONFERENCE

By

Three circuit court judges, all graduates of Wagner High School, gathered for a photograph at the recent Spring Judicial Conference in Chamberlain. Judge Christina Klinger, a 1996 graduate from Wagner, was recently appointed by Governor Kristi Noem to the 6th circuit court bench. She is based out of Pierre. Judge Bruce Anderson, WHS 1981, has been a 1st Circuit judge since 2006 and was appointed by Governor Mike Rounds in the fall of 2005. He served as magistrate for ten years prior to joining the circuit court. His chambers are in Armour. Governor Dennis Daugaard appointed Jane Wipf Pfeifle, a 1977 Wagner HS graduate, to the 7th Circuit bench in 2015. She offices in both Rapid City and Custer. Klinger, Anderson and Wipf Pfeifle join 40 other circuit judges in the state. Despite having graduated in different decades, all fondly remembered their days in high school in Wagner, and found they had all been taught by the following teachers: Howard Bich, Walt Nedved, Lorean Schoepf, Glen Schoepf and Deanna Ridgway.
