Wagner falls to the Scotland/ Menno Trappers in another very windy battle on April 15th with a score of 1-12. In the circle for Wagner was Mara Wright who pitched all 4 innings striking out 1 and walking 7.

Nedved, Medricky, and Cournoyer each racked up a hit for the Red Raiders. Medricky batted in one run with an in the park home run in the top of the fourth inning. Sydney Cournoyer had a great defensive game with making many plays for the Red Raiders at shortstop. Catching for Wagner was Libby Kotab who had some great throw downs to 2nd and throwing one girl out at 3rd with the assistance of Brylie Link who was playing her position at 3rd base.

The Wagner JV lost to the trappers despite out-hitting them ten to seven. Hannah Holzbauer led things off in the circle, striking out three and walking five. Brooklin Nielsen, Kaymari Drapeau, and Mara Wright each collected two hits for the Red Raiders. Tegan Langdeaux, Aubrey Kazena, Hannah Holzbauer, and Libby Kotab all contributed one hit for the night. Libby Kotab’s inside the park homerun drove in two runs, Aubrey Kazena’s hit to center drove in two as well, and Nielsen’s hard hit brought in one. Holzbauer also stole four bases on the night.
