The Wagner Volleyball team played Canton on Saturday, October 7th. The Lady Raiders lost in 3 sets with scores of 16-25, 12-25, and 18-25.

OutsidehittersAubreyMedrcky and Ashlyn Koupal each had 5 kills in the match. Macy Koupal earned 12 assists. At the service line Madi Knebel had 5 points and M. Koupal had 4 points/1 ace. Knebel led the defense scrambling for 14 digs, A. Koupal added 11, while A. Medricky and M. Koupal each had 5. Up at the net A. Medricky put up 5 blocks while Kya Kjeldgaard and Ravyn Medricky each had 3.

The JV team lost in 2 sets with scores of 19-25 and 16-25. Brylie Link led all attackers with 4 kills while Hannah Holzbauer and Ravyn Medricky each had 3. Nedved tallied 13 assists in the match. Nedved also had 9 points/1 ace at the service line. Holzbauer led the defense scrapping for 13 digs along with Nedved picking up 7 and R. Medricky had 4. R. Medricky put 2 blocks while Link and Brianna Fuchs each had 1.

The C team lost in 3 sets with scores of 25-23, 13-25, and 12-15. Fuchs led the attack with 5 kills while Kylin Insko and Mateya Bruguier each had 3. Setters Jazlyn Lhotak and Insko dished out 6 and 4 assists in the match. Rico Fischer led all servers earning 8 points/4 aces and Link had 6 points/1 ace. In the backcourt Lhotak led the defense picking up 10 digs and Fuchs added 9.

The Wagner Volleyball team will travel to Parkston to take on the Trojans in our annual Dig Pink Match on Tuesday, October 10th and then host AC/DC for parents night on Thursday, October 12th.
