The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Bon Homme on Saturday, September 16th to compete in the 16 team Cavalier Clash. In pool play Wagner first faced AC/ DC and won with scores of 25-1025-20. Next they faced Elk Point/ Jefferson and fell short with scores of 20-25 and 23-25. Last match in pool play they met up with Parker and won with scores of 25-15 and 25-16. Earning runner-up in pool play the Raiders faced Platte/Geddes in first round bracket play and fought a tough close battle ending up short with scores of 25-13, 25-27, and 15-25.

Ashlyn Koupal led all attackers with 30 kills on the day along with Aubrey Medricky earning 23 kills, Kya Kjeldgaard added 20, and Ravyn Medricky had 13. Senior setter Macy Koupal dished out 77 assists in 4 matches. Behind the service line M. Koupal tallied 30 points/9 aces, Braxton Nedved earned 20 points/4 aces, Madi Knebel added 18 points/5 aces, A. Koupal had 17 points/2 aces, Kjeldgaard with 12 points and Libby Kotab had 11 points/3 aces. Libero Madi Knebel led the defense picking up 36 digs along with A.Koupal with 33 digs, M. Koupal added 26, Nedved had 16, A. Medricky with 15 and Kotab with 10. R. Medricky put up 11 blocks and Kya Kjeldgaard had 5 on the day.

The Lady Raiders will host Bon Homme on Tuesday, September 19th and travel to Kimball on Thursday, September 21st to take on the Kimball/White Lake Wildcats.
