Originally, the Region 3A Cross Country Meet was scheduled for Thursday, October 12th. But, with the pending bad weather prediction, the region made a smart choice and moved the race up a day to to Wednesday October 11. It was a beautiful day to race, despite the mild wind. There were several Wagner Runners who performed at their persona best at this meet. The competition was tough and, often times, this is best for runners as the competition tends to push them harder.

This was the race to qualify for state and, unfortunately, Wagner fell a bit short; our closest runners placed in 27th and 28th place. Only the top 20 racers move on to state.

It has been a true pleasure coaching these kids this 2023 XC Season! Mr. Belling and I are extremely happy with all the accomplishments these kids have made this season. Running is truly a life-long sport and will really help these kids flourish all throughout their lifetime.
