With the sun shining bright, the temperature warm, the sound of runners warming up, AND lady bugs swarming (literally all over the place …in ears, on backs, hitting kids in the face!), the Wagner Raiders were ready to take on a in Homme on Monday, September 22.

This course has been one that kids anticipate and dread most of their Cross Country season. There are many big hills that make this race both challenging and rewarding all in one. The challenge being the hills and the reward coming when each runner crosses that finish line. You see, cross country is not just about running but also, it is about setting your mind right and working through the race to ensure and keep going; even when the course is tough like this race was.
