WAGNER COMMUNITY UNITES FOR

FIRST-EVER WOMEN'S WELLNESS WORKSHOP

Submitted By Alison Woods

Wagner, SD – June 1, 2025 — On Saturday, May 31st, the Wagner Theater was filled with energy, encouragement, and empowerment as local women gathered for the first-ever Women’s Wellness Workshop. The event brought together community members and locally based businesses and services for a morning focused on movement, mindset, and meaningful connection.

The morning began with a 30-minute workout led by Whitney Weber, owner of Power & Flow Fitness Studio, followed by an inspiring presentation from Ericka Kotab, owner of Flourish & Fettle Yoga and Health Coaching, titled “Strong, Not Stressed: Strategies for Balance and Well-Being.” The workshop concluded with a calming yoga flow and time for attendees to refuel and connect with one another.

What made this event especially meaningful was that every component—from the fitness instruction to the guest speaker and even the event coordination—came from businesses and individuals rooted right in Wagner.

“All of the services and support came from right here in our town,” said event organizer Alison Woods. “It was such a powerful reminder that we don’t need to look far to find wellness, motivation, and community. Wagner is home to so many talented and passionate people, and it was incredible to bring that all together under one roof.”

The event highlighted a growing focus on health and wellness in the Wagner area and demonstrated how local businesses can collaborate to create impactful experiences for the community.

Plans are already underway for future workshops and wellness-focused gatherings to continue building on this momentum.
