One of this week’s WCS Senior spotlight highlights Sydney Cournoyer. She is the daughter of Antoinette Cournoyer and Joey Cournoyer Sr. Sydney’s nickname is Syd. During her years at WCS, Sydney has been involved in the extra-curricular activities of volleyball (one year), basketball (two years), and softball (two years).

Sydney’s advice to underclassmen men is to get your work done right and on time. Her favorite high school memory would be cooking in Culinary class. When people chew with their mouth open is Sydney’s pet peeve. The person that Sydney admires the most is her mom because she is the strongest and sweetest person she knows.

Sydney’s favorite color is rose gold and her favorite class is Human Development. Keely Brunsing is her favorite teacher. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo and favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse. Sydney enjoys watching Adam Sandler act and listening to singer, Rod Wave. When Sydney is not busy with school or extra-curricular activities, she enjoys attending her brother’s basketball games.

After graduation, Sydney plans to attend college and become an ultrasound technician.
