One of this week’s WCS Senior spotlight highlights Carter Cournoyer. He is the son of Antoinette Cournoyer and Joey Cournoyer Sr. During his years at WCS, Carter has been involved in the extra-curricular activities of basketball (four years) and football (one year).

Carter’s advice to underclass- is get your work done on time and get it done right. His favorite high school memory would be participating in sports at WCS. People who chew with their mouth open is one of Carter’s pet peeves. Carter’s parents, Antoinette and Joey are the people that he admires most. It is because they work hard at everything they do and the amount of support that they give Carter in all that he does.

Carter’s favorite color is green and his favorite TV show is The Sandlot. Cheeseburgers and Texas Roadhouse are his favorite food and restaurant respectively. Carter’s favorite singer is Rod Wave. When Carter is not busy with school or extra-curricular activities, he enjoys playing sports.

After graduation, Carter plans to attend the University of South Dakota.
