One of this week’s featured WCS seniors is Sapphire Simmons. Sapphire is the daughter of Jeremy Simmons and Angel Fallis-Simmons. Sapphire does go by the nickname Saph. During her years at Wagner Community School, Sapphire has been involved in several extra-curricular activities including JAG (three years) and cheer (one year).
Sapphire’s advice to underclassmen would be to do your work and go to school to learn not just to make friends because it will pay off in the end. Her best memory from high school was making the best food in Culinary class. Sapphire’s biggest pet peeve is when people are talking loud and loud chewing. The person that Sapphire admires the most is her-self. She chose herself because she has been through it all and still keeps persevering.
Sapphire’s favorite colors are red and black. Her favorite class is Culinary and favorite teacher is Mrs. Brunsing. Tacos and El Tapatio are her favorite food and restaurant respectively. NBA Youngboy is her favorite singer. Sapphire’s favorite movie is Shrek and favorite TV show is Jersey Shore. When she is not busy with school or her extra-curricular activities, Sapphire enjoys sleeping.
After graduation, Sapphire plans to attend a technical school to become a sonographer.
