One of this week’s featured WCS senior’s is Madi Knebel. She is the daughter of Jason and Stacey Knebel. During her years at Wagner Community School, Madi has been a part of many school extra-curricular activities including band (three years), track (four years), volleyball (four years), stats (four years), activities council (two years), chorus (two years), National Honor Society (two years), swimming (three years), and Student Council (four years).
Madi’s advice to underclassmen would be to enjoy high school because it is only four short years of your life. Her best memories from high school are hanging out in the parking lot after games. When people chew with their mouth open is one of Madi’s pet peeves. The people that Madi admire most are her parents.
They work very hard and push Madi to be a good person.
Madi’s favorite color is blue and her favorite class is Culinary. Mrs. Brunsing is her favorite teacher. Chicken alfredo and Texas Roadhouse are her favorite food and restaurant respectively. Zach Bryan is her favorite singer and Adam Sandler is her favorite actor. Madi’s favorite movie is Grown Ups and favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy. When Madi is not busy with school or extra-curricular activities, she enjoys hanging out with her friends.
After graduation, Madi plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in education.
