One of this week’s WCS Senior spotlight highlights Jhett Breen. He is the son of Pat and Becky Breen. During his years at WCS, Jhett has been involved in many extra-curricular activities including band (three years), track (four years), wrestling (four years), football (four years), and chorus (four years).

Jhett’s advice to underclassmen is to not wish your life away and to enjoy it right where you are because it goes by faster than you think. His favorite high school memories are playing cards, state wrestling and trying to find Ms. Tucek’s animals. Jhett’s pet peeve is when he receives a call from someone and tries to call them right back but they do not answer. The people that Jhett admires the most are his parents, Pat and Becky, because they have helped him through every aspect possible from being at every sporting event, to helping him through hard times and chase his dreams. They have always been by his side and helped him through it all.

Jhett’s favorite color is red and favorite class is US History. Ms. Tucek is his favorite teacher. His favorite actor is Kevin Hart and favorite movie is Pearl Harbor. Band of Brothers and Zach Bryan are his favorite tv show and singer respectively. Jhett’s favorite food is lobster and favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse. When Jhett is not busy with school and extra-curricular activities, he enjoys hunting.

After graduation, Jhett plans on attending South Dakota State University for either aviation or engineering.
