Wagner Community School Senior Spotlight – Vincent Bechen Vincent Bechen is one of this week’s spotlighted WCS Seniors. Vincent is the son of James and Amanda Bechen. Vincent’s nicknames are Vince and Vinny. During his years at WCS, Vincent has been involved in many extra-curricular activities including band (two years), cross-country (four years), oral interp (one year), track (four years), FFA (three years), wrestling (two years), golf (one year), and quiz bowl (one year).

Vincent’s advice to underclassmen is to take the class Chemistry B because Chemistry A is unnecessarily stressful. His best high school memory is going to a concert with Jacob Anderson and Jace Kuhlman. Vincent’s pet peeve is when people act like they are a big deal.

Vincent’s favorite color is purple and his favorite classes have been America in the 60s and 70s and Outdoor Science. Mr. Belling is his favorite teacher. His favorite foods are pineapple and green grapes. Vincent’s favorite band is The Smashing Pumpkins and favorite singers are Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder. Into the Wild and Phineas and Ferb are Vincent’s favorite movie and tv shows respectively. Ryan Reynolds is his favorite actor. When Vincent I not busy with school or his many extra-curricular activities, he enjoys listening to music.

After graduation, Vincent plans to join the Air Force.
