Jacob Anderson is one of this week’s spotlighted WCS Seniors. Jacob is the son of Chad and Kathy Anderson. Jacob has a twin, Blaine. Jacob’s nicknames include Jake, Jakey and Clutch. During his years at WCS, Jacob has been involved in several extra- curricular activities including band for two years and FFA for three years.

High school goes by fast so make the most of it while you are here would be Jacob’s advice to underclassmen. Jacob’s favorite memory from high school would be messing around with a mower on Bain Kuhlman’s farm and by the end of the day it had caught on fire twice and still would not run. His biggest pet peeve is slow walkers.

Jacob most admires Dale Earnhardt. Jacob admires him for growing up in a small town in North Carolina with little money. Even though times were tough, Earnhardt was determined to race for a living. Dale never gave up leading him to eventually become Nascar’s most popular driver and the second-best driver behind Richard Petty in Nascar.

Jacob’s favorite color is blue. His favorite class has been Ag and favorite teacher would be Joan Mulder. Jacob enjoys listening to AC/DC and his favorite movie is Black Hawk Down. When Jacob is not busy with school or extra-curricular activities, he enjoys farming.

After graduation, Jacob plans to study animal science at South Dakota State University with the intentions of after college, farming.
